"Pink Frosts" of Late Autumn....

Friday, October 31, 2008

Since our "Pink Saturday" coincides with the first day of November, I thought these photos were very appropriate!.....Frosty landscapes iced in "pink"! The colors are so "soft & muted"...and the images so "still & wintery".....

I think this time of year is well suited to me.....I need a few weeks of "calm", ....to "catch my breath" before the holiday excitement is upon us all!.....So I will "thank" Beverly our hostess, ...& be off to visit you all.... & spend the rest of this weekend involved in peaceful pursuits!......
Note: Today is the last day to sign up for my Very Vintage Christmas Swap! I would love to have you join me!...but decide quickly!...times almost up! :)

How breathtakingly lovely! The sun must have been shining on them just right to turn them such a lovely *pink* like that!

I'd love to join your swap, but I don't know that much about swaps, being new to blogland, and I wouldn't want to disappoint my recipient! I'll just watch this year and hopefully next time I can participate!

Have a lovely weekend!

What incredible photos. Is it just the light on the frost that give it that peachy glow? Magical.

Hello Heidi, I just found your blog! Your photos are just beautiful! And the pink frost is so tranquil! The first thing I liked about your blog was your McCain/Palin sign! You go girl! I hope you don't mind, but I have added your blog to my favorites list. Can you tell me anything about the swaps? Its the first I've heard of them.
Have a great day,
Marilyn
