On the eve of Mother's Day, I thought it appropriate to share a few of Mary Cassatt's most famous paintings. These of course are of mothers & their children, a favorite subject of hers. All depict "everyday life"...I think that's what I find most appealing. That is certainly what I cherish most when it comes to motherhood & raising children...the simple, "day to day" happenings. These are the times you truly learn about your children, by taking time, listening & participating in their lives. I am so blessed to have become a mother, & now a grandmother....because of them, my "everyday life" is filled with "unconditional love".... Wishing all the "mothers & mothers-to-be" reading this,.... the loveliest of "Mother's Days" ......
