Celebrating Pink Saturday & my Daughter's New Designs!

Happy Pink Saturday once again!....Today's post is all about the incredibly enchanting new children's clothes from "Wendy Miracle"...a new Etsy shop specializing in the most adorable skirts & dresses for the tiniest of little girls!!....And I must say I especially love this talented shop owner...who just so happens to be my daughter Mallory!....a.k.a. "Wendy Miracle"!

"Pink Saturday & English Country Style"....

I have always been drawn to the "soft, lovely, cottage-y feel" of English Country style!...and no one does it better, than the English company "Cabbages & Roses"!....Home decor, clothing & fabric, "Cabbages & Roses" is the epitome of what I love when it comes to this simple, yet romantic style. Soft pinks & dusty roses,.... worn antique pieces & a charmingly disheveled feel is what I love the most!

So for this Pink Saturday I take my hat off to England,.... it's country homes.... & enchanting interiors!....ala "Cabbages & Roses"!......and thank you to Beverly @ How Sweet The Sound for encouraging us all to hunt for..... & post about.... the best in all that is "pink"!

Happy Anniversary "PINK SATURDAY"!

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of "PINK SATURDAY"!......Two years ago
Beverly @ How Sweet The Sound, thought it might be fun to make Saturday the day we all would post "pink"! Her reasoning behind it was that by Saturday sometimes subjects for a post are running a bit thin, so if there was a theme, in this case "pink", it would fill that void!

Well Beverly's idea proved to be not only popular, but one that has grown & grown & grown!......She has ladies participating that have since day one,..... and others who have joined somewhere along the way! Pink Saturday was a simple idea that has become somewhat of a phenomena!

I want to take this opportunity to thank Beverly for bringing us all together week after week,... to share the "love of pink" & for us all to become friends!.....

A Lovely Pink Saturday to You!.....

I simple adore tall rubber boots,.... "wellies" if you will!....I grew very used to them, while living in rural New York a few years ago. In fact, our first summer was very cool & very, very rainy!....My wellies were unpacked & became my standard footwear!....

Placed by the backdoor, they were a must when running to the barn or working in the garden...& I found myself very appreciative of their lovely height, when getting a bit too near the slippery edge of our frog-filled pond!
My wellies proved to be an all-year staple for me, paired with shorts in summer ( a very chic summer look!) & socks in the winter, my wellies became a dependable friend.

Now back in warm California, my dear "footwear friends" reside in the back of my closet, seldom experiencing the adventures they once had. ....But now & again, I will take my beloved wellies out, & we will dream of knee deep mud puddles.
Maybe someday........

PINK SATURDAY......"Decorating with Pink"

Hello "Ladies of Pink Saturday"!.....This week I was browsing through the "Southern Living" magazine website & came across some of the "prettiest pink ideas", for decorating your home!....Sometimes pink is overlooked as a serious shade when deciding on color combinations,... but it so should not be!....

There is a pink for everyone,....maybe a very pale "whisper of blush", or a strong
"dash of fuchia"!.....but whatever your preference, pink is a color that always "flatters",...one that is "happy"..... & one that brings a certain "refreshing innocence" to any room!....Consider pink the next time you are making decisions about color!.....Who knows, it make be just what your room has been wishing for!

PInk Saturday with Tracy Porter!....

Happy Pink Saturday Ladies!.....Now I know it is somewhat of a stretch to use this photo of "style guru" Tracy Porter as my "pink" for this week, but that is exactly what I'm doing!.....I love Tracy!...& if you are not familiar with her colorful, creative & imaginative style than you are in for a treat!.....You must visit her glorious blog, where she shares her thoughts on home & family & decorating & clothes & cooking & gardening, etc!....On her blog, she also has a variety of videos that you can enjoy, with Tracy showing how-to's for just about anything!....In this particular one, she is creating these beautiful flower baskets that actually are swagged along with her drapery panels!.....Just amazingly pretty!.....And the photo below is another video where Tracy is showing how to set this lovely "pink" draped tabletop!......So along with visiting all the Pink Saturday ladies, be sure & treat yourself to Tract Porter's blog as well!.....You'll love it!......
