A little parade of "Peeps"!.......This week I am immersing myself in Easter activities!..."Dying eggs" with Andrew, "baking" an army of leaping bunnies (the sugar-cookie variety!) & making up a batch of these adorable homemade "Peeps" from Martha Stewart Living! Are these not just the sweetest little things!!...I have never made marshmallows from scratch, but these have won me over! I am so going to try it! I am including the link right here on my blog, so if any of you also want to delve into this world of "marshmallow delights" you can join me! I will let you know how I do! Wish me luck!....Happy Easter to you all!

" How to shape those tiny "bunny bodies"!....

Little "sugar baths".......Make up a batch too & then we can compare notes!!!....How hard can it be!!!

These are so cute, and would be so fun to do! I'm going to have to look at the recipe and see how hard it is! With three little boys, it would be fun to see what they come up with! LOL

I tried these peeps! For some reason, the marshmallow was smooth in the bowl, and when I put it in a ziploc bag to pipe it, it turned lumpy and we ended up making pastel clouds instead because it was the only shape we could make. I highly recommend using a thermometer and bowl mixer...I think thats where I went wrong.

We also added a little bit of vanilla. They were light and sweet and delicious!

I've been anxious to try these - I'm so glad to see they worked out for you! I'm hoping to make lemon and coconut ones, and then just do some strawberry eggs. I love the idea of the coconut (I think that's the white?).
